Digital Marketing Intern
The Digital Marketing Intern is responsible for supporting Horn and Mane’s Digital Marketing Team by assisting in the development and execution of the company’s owned media channels to drive awareness and traffic to the company’s website and social channels for the purpose of new business development. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting Horn and Mane’s Executive Team (CEO, COO & CRO) with client facing marketing support for the company’s clients in Canada and the US.

Supporting Digital Marketing Specialists
- Support the execution of the master content calendar for social media (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok)
- Contribute to the development of all social media content including copywriting, sourcing creative, publishing, community management (reactive and proactive)
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance of the Horn and Mane website including writing, coordinating and publishing web content (including weekly original content articles) and optimizing copy and landing pages for search
- Collect channel insights and deliver consumer engagement reports including improvement recommendations
- Deliver insights and recommendations on cross-channel and cross-device user behaviour and attribution
- Assist in the rollout of corporate marketing campaigns and events from ideation, creation, launch and post-mortem
- Support the creation of content for the weekly email marketing program
- Provide channel specific performance insights for weekly management team meeting
Account Management
Supporting Leadership Team
- Work cross functionally with multiple internal teams to manage Horn and Mane’s Master Action Plan (MAP)
- Participate in brainstorms and internal/client meetings
- Assist with developing briefs for clients
- Assist with building pitch decks for new business development
- Provide channel specific performance insights for weekly client updates
- Schedule, organize and participate in weekly status meetings
- Prepare status reports weekly and circulate to distribution list
- Draft agendas for internal and external meetings
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of web analytics tools (including Google Analytics, AdWords, Console, Business Directory)
- Knowledge of social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later.com)
- Computer Skills: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
- Well-informed on the latest digital trends / technology and constantly learning
Education & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in a Marketing role focussed on digital channels
- Previous experience working in digital marketing or traditional marketing communications a definite asset
